Are you watching this? I'm HOOKED. I'm always late to the game when it comes to new tv shows but I'm not too bad with this one. It's currently airing season 2 on A&E, and Season 1 is on Netflix.
Now go watch. GO!

We are huge Oliver Jeffers fans around here. Ben has three of his stories (and two more coming to him on his birthday!) and he loves to have them read to him. He seems to love them in a different way from his other books, which sounds weird but it's true. He looooves them.
I recently discovered that one of his favourites, Lost and Found, is also a movie! I had no idea...how did I not know about this?! A copy of this will hopefully arrive here before someone I know turns two ;)

Recently Billy and I started watching The Following and it's SO GOOD. It's creepy in the best possible way and so suspenseful. The show is about a convicted serial killer who has been in prison for many years and has developed a 'following' of people who have now come out of the wood work to help him...and they are all as crazy as he is. Kevin Bacon is the good guy if you didn't already guess. Seriously, if you're cool with scary stuff, watch this one!
Other shows we're obsessed with - Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Homeland, and True Blood. Oh, and if Billy is working, then I get caught up on Downton Abbey, Mad Men, and my plethora of teen dramas that I'm embarrased to admit I love. Any other shows we should be watching?
So the Grammy's were kind of boring. Poor Billy is so ready for award season to be over. But this dress. Um, I would like to get famous and wear this somewhere please. Jennifer Aniston should wear this but in white to her wedding. Wait, I should have worn this in white to my wedding. Ok. I guess I basically just love it. I'm not a fan of Rihanna at all, but she nailed it. Now if only she would toss her nutcase bf. Whole different story.
Other things of note about the Grammy's. LL Cool J is a terrible host. The Bob Marley tribute was weird. The Lumineer's were perfect. I still don't know who Frank Ocean is. JT's comeback could have used a little more Jay-Z and a little less JT.

Billy and I are planning a relaxing night in, and not on Valentines Day itself but after a very long gruelling work week for Billy, so we're both pretty excited for that. But I've been looking at some fun things to do and I love that they are playing classic movies at theatres over the next few months, including Love Story in February. Perfect, right?

My friend Sara over at Saige Wisdom has started a new link-up called Obsessions, which is essentially just a list of things she's loving right now. If there's a list of any sort involved, I'm obviously in. So, here we go.
The return of Mad Men, after the longest hiatus ever. I am a little annoyed that Betty is in like 5% of the episodes now. But I'll take it. Any Mad Men is better than no Mad Men. Her and Don are going to end up back together in the end, right? Right?
Vegetarian Recipes, like this Lemon Basil Pesto Pasta. I'm always looking for yummy EASY recipes, and I'm always leaning towards meatless meals. I can't help it. They're just so good.
Pretty tattoos. I want to get my next one soon, something to do with Benjamin...just not sure what exactly I want. Looking for inspiration. Is it weird that this one reminds me of those horrible No fear shirts everyone has when I was in middle school? Or am I so old no one knows what I'm talking about?
Jewellery by A Merry Mishap. I want to order something SO BADLY, and I keep looking at the collection and trying to decide, but I simply cannot pick just one item. I either need to make a decision already, or just buy a bunch of it. Leaning towards the later.
Paris in Color. Ordering a copy of this book today. How can I NOT have this? There's nothing better than seeing a blogger get published. Living vicariously through you Nichole!

Last night we watched the series premiere of Girls, the new HBO show that's getting all sorts of 'will it be the next SATC' buzz. I've heard a lot of whining about this show, but a lot of good reviews too. So I needed to see it.
Well, I loved it. I thought it was really, really funny, and not at all what I was expecting. Zosia Mamet (also on Madmen) was hilarious, as were the other girls (unknowns, as far as I know).
So yep, I'll be watching this one again. I should have known though. Always trust HBO. Always.

I love to do a little best-dressed list after an award show, but before I get to that I have some questions. Questions that are popping into my head during pretty muich every award show.
- Why are people so into Heidi and Seal? Are there really big fans out there of 'Kiss from a Rose'?
- Are the Glee kids multiplying? Do they really need to take up 90% of everything on television?
- Why do Will Arnett and Amy Poehler not have a reality show?
- Is there anything that Ryan Seacrest is not the producer of?
- Why does Chris Martin never go anywhere with Gwyneth? I mean, come on man. Snob.
- Will I ever stop hoping to see Brad and Jen walk down the red carpet?
Ok, so on to the fashion. These were my favs.
Emily.I am a big Emily fan anyway, but this dress is just so lovely. Her stylist is awesome.
This Glee girl. Don't watch the show, but this dress looks cool. Weird shoulders, yes, but I think they're working for her.
Evan. I have not embraced the ultra short rather strange hair...but the dress is lovely.
Elisabeth. I lover her on Mad Men, but she always looks so drab. This is a nice change.
This girl. No clue who she is or what she does, but I love this dress.
As for my least favourite, that goes hands down to Julianna Margulues. Just awful. This weird glass bubble things. I don't get it. Sorry Armani.

Did anyone watch this show that started this week?
Oh man. So hilarious.
