ADOP on Style at Home

You guys, my dreams are coming true. I'm not even kidding. Today I am featured on Style at Home's blog. NO BIG DEAL.

ADOP on Inward Facing Girl!

This morning as I caught up on Tweets (yes, I have a hard time even finding time for THAT these days) I discovered that the lovely Melanie of Inward facing Girl included ADOP in her Art I Heart series! I am SO EXCITED!






Melanie is such a cool blogger, if we lived closer I would be asking her to get coffee and share her Mom/blogger wisdom with me. Fingers crossed that I meet her at Alt next year!

Over the past few weeks I've been chatting back and forth with Jenna of Polished Plum (owner of Plum Design) and I sort of feel like I've made a new friend! She purchased this piece  from the shop and in the future we will hopefully be working together a bit more. Later this month I'll be meeting Jenna to hand deliver a second painting and to chat a bit...I'm very excited!


She was also kind enough to write about ADOP on her blog and included a little interview which was so much fun to do. Polished Plum is a great design blog, tons of inspiration!

Tonight I was getting caught up on my Google Reader (a rare occurance these days), and stumbled upon MYSELF over on Parlour! This has really been my week!!

So this is big. ADOP on House & Home.

House and Home Magazine, what I would consider to be the best shelter mag made in Canada, has mentioned one of my paintings in a recent Ask a Designer segment that was filmed at the 2012 Interior Design Show. 






Cameron MacNeil, the designer, recommends my painting (No. 4) for a woman redesigning her condo.


Um, what? This is beyond awesome. I have collected every issue of H&H for years. this is like the mothership accepting me. There are no words.

Some of you who've read of this blog for years now, AKA Mom, (I actually started this almost FIVE years ago, but only recently started being more public with it) know that I'm not always the best blogger. I get really distracted with things (these days obviously with Ben and ADOP), and I forget all about it. Not to mention actualy READING blogs. I so rarely have time for it. I used to wake up every day and read my favs over tea and bagels. Those days are long gone.

Well, lesson learned. Today I discovered that the lovely Sara of Saige Wisdom mentioned me on her blog! It was a while ago, and I feel like an idiot (sorry Sara!!) but I just wanted to extend a big thank you to her!! So sweet of you! Also, welcome to the world of the iPhone (it's the best, right?)
