Merry Christmas (and a playlist)!
Only a few days now! So exciting! I wanted to wish everyone a very happy holiday, I hope you all have a lovely time with your family and friends. I'm case you're looking for some really, really good Christmas music, I thought I would share our Christmas morning playlist. We listen to this as we are opening presents, and it's the BEST.
2000 Miles - The Pretenders
Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie and Bing Crosby
Run Run Rudolph - Chuck Berry
Please Come Home - Death Cab for Cutie
So this is Christmas - John Lennon
Christmas Day - The Pogues
Let It Snow - Frank Sinatra
Great Big Sled - The Killers
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - The Temptations
Winter Wonderland - Bing Crosby
The Christmas Song - Nat King Cole
Do They Know It's Christmas - That fundraiser song with U2 and several other 80s bands
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland
The Christmas Song - The Raveonettes
Santa Baby - Marylin Monroe
Put a little love in Your heart - Annie Lennox and Al Green
Alright, once again, Merry Christmas, and happy new year!!
(Just a warning, the Pogues song has some cheeky words in it which are hard to decipher due to the crazy Irish accents but uncool nonetheless - if you are easily offended you may not like this, but 99% of the song is brilliant and it's one of my favs, so it's a must for us.)
