Last night after work Billy and I headed to G&G for dinner. We hadn't been since before the renovation, because it seemed that this pub (just like all the others) had turned into one of those house-music-playing clubs for guys in tight white dress shirts who drive those cars with too much base. But we thought, let's give it a try.
Although it does have a much more formal vibe going on, what with the black walls and glass everywhere, it was actually not bad! The menu was the same (but now appears in a skinny little black book, tres chic), and the french fries still come in baskets on those red and white check napkins. Depending on what the weekend scene is like there, it might make for a fun night out!
